Kicks: Sneaker Con 2013 Review
The Sneaker Con was in full affect yesterday. Wow, any sneaker heads dream to be in the midst of all the sneaker heat. It was most definitely a site to see and in attendance was former NBA star, Dikembe Mutombo introducing his newest Adidas originals. So many sneaker heads were in attendance and vendors who packed the house with adundance heat like old school Supreme Hats, Bape, BBC, Classic and Very rare NBA Jerseys, Exclusive Nike SB’s and whatever you were looking for was all in one building. I am sure many people spent out as you could also trade and sell some of your kicks if you pleased. My first time I had a blast looking forward to the next Sneaker Con in NY next year. Kicks: John Buscemi Signature Collection
I think I just died and went to high-end sneaker heaven. If the name John Buscemi don’t ring a bell, you may want to Google it. He has been working in the streetwear & fashion industry for years, lending his hand to help many brands. He has quite a few projects, one including the John Buscemi brand. the first product launching from this brand are some pretty amazing kicks, as well as fly leather goods, including an all leather skateboard. And get this, the sneakers are designed to look like a Hermès Birkin bag, lock and all! I’m in love. I want em in every color (red, black and white). There is no price announced yet, but it’s kinda obvious they won’t be cheap. The whole collection hits select retailers in mid August so stay tuned for updates. 10 Deep has dropped the 2nd part of the Summer 2013 collection titled “Lord Of The Flies”. This theme, inspired by the famous book, features a venus fly-trap floral print in many forms with a splash of polkadot print thrown in to mix it up. I love the all over matching print action! Kicks: Reebok X Melody Ehsani Betwixt Mid In ALL GOLD!
I got you ladies! Jewelry designer, Melody Ehsani, stepped into the footwear scene last year with her first collaboration sneaker with Reebok. Now we have a round 2! This all gold beauty keeps the same shoe design as the 1st, with the python print material also. It is about 85% gold, with silver accents around the lettering, on the back and in the lacing (3 diff lace styles come with the shoe). The word “LOVE” is written across both shoes (2 letters on each). There is also a special message in-scripted inside that reads:
