There were some strong rumors that Harlem’s Vinny Cha$e had gone to Bad Boy, after a tweet and a photo Vinny recently posted. “#NEWHARLEM is born !! S/o 2 @iamdiddy for the illest move #CHEER$BADBOY2013,” Vinny wrote. “#WeHere #Work #Cantstop #progress #americanbusiness.” Looks like that’s not the case, as XXL has confirmed he’s officially signed to Epic Records as of this weekend. Aside from a solo deal, he also got a group deal for his Cheer$ Club crew. Perhaps the Bad Boy thing is more of a song collab? Or maybe Diddy helped him get the Epic deal? Who knows, but either way, it’s a major move! Congrats to Vinny and his team!

Driver That Fled The Scene After Killing Expectant Couple Has Been ID’d…And He’s A Convicted Killer!
A young and expecting Brooklyn couple tragically died yesterday morning, after their cab was struck by another vehicle while they were on the way to the hospital. The baby was able to be prematurely delivered by cesarean, but sadly, he died early this morning in ICU. The driver of the car that hit their cab, as well as his passenger, had fled the scene, and cops have finally been able to ID him, though he’s still on the run. Details below.

On Tuesday at 11 am, a 87-year-old resident of Glenwood Gardens collapsed at the facility while a staff member called 911 but refused to give the woman CPR. The elder woman was a resident at a Bakersfield retirement facility, and was denied CPR because it was against the facilities rules. Imagine your own grandmother or grandfather denied CPR — I can only image what it would be like to make that decision, but at the end of the day… isn’t life more important?
