Seahawks Linebacker Leroy Hill had his first court apperance since being arrested Tuesday for assaulting his girlfriend. He was ordered held on $150,000 bail, with his next court date scheduled for today. According to her statement, Hill’s girlfriend said she was hit between 15-20 times by hill, including being hit with a bottle of alcohol. She also said she was held against her will in his home, and he took her cell phone away from her so she could not call anyone. He also reportedly destroyed some of her belongings with a knife. He was formally charged with 3rd degree assault-domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment, both of which are felonies in the state of Washington. This looks pretty bad for Hill, who has already had legal troubles in the past.

NBA:(Video) Russell Westbrook Has A Temper Tantrum During Game
Russell Westbrook looks angry, you won’t like him when he is angry! Russ pretty much bugged out on the sidelines during the Thunder’s game last night against Memphis. After being taken out by coach Scott Brooks because he was a little too upset that a specific play was not ran correctly, Westbrook came to the sidelines and proceeded to look like he was going to turn into the Incredible Hulk. After a few moments he gets up and storms away from the bench towards the locker room. A few minutes later everything was all good again. I love how westbrook gets emotionally invested in the game, that is how your supposed to be. The only problem I had with this hissy fit, was the fact that the Thunder were up by 20 when it happened. Not really a time that anyone on a team winning by that much needs to take his anger that far. But he is a professional, he composed himself and came back in the game and they finished off the Grizzlies. Hopefully this doesn’t affect the team chemistry going forward because even though I am a diehard Knicks fan, as a basketball fan in general you gotta love watching OKC play. NFL: Pro Bowl Running Back Needs Heart Surgery
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will likely undergo heart surgery some time next month. Foster, who has had the problem since he was in high school, was actually forced to miss a game this season due to the issue. The procedure would be to correct “structural problems” that can lead to an abnormal heart. He missed just the one game, but Texans coach Gary Kubiak said that Foster has had the problem affect him in practice more than once. Abnormal heartbeats are no joke. Many professional athletes have died unfortunately as a result of that condition. Hope all goes well for Foster.
