Houston Rockets rookie Royce White may soon very well give up all the fame & fortune that comes with the dreams of playing in the NBA. White has a severe anxiety disorder, that Houston knew about before drafting him. White does not like to fly and have taken a bus to some of the teams away games. His fear of flying is no joke, and even though he and the rockets talked before the season how to best handle everything, he is starting to feel like Houston is not doing enough to help him with his disease and because of that he may very well retire as a rookie. Now starting at guard for the Houston Rock–umm, no wait, starting for the Orlando Mag–umm, no wait..now starting for the Qingdao Hawks, Tracyyyyyyy McGradyyyyyy. Ok Ok, so it doesn’t have the same ring as an announcer shouting out a players name before an NBA game, but the Qingdao Hawks of the Chinese Basketball Association seem to be one of the few teams willing to give McGrady a contract. I am a fan of McGrady and rooting for him. Check the video below to see his dunk in his first game in the Chinese league. It is only one play but he seems to look like he has no problem getting up in the air to attack the rim. IamJOE357
MLB: Get Caught Cheating & Get A New Contract!
Last Season Melky Cabrera was suspended for 50 games by MLB for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. At the time he was one of the top players in baseball after having a bunch of average seasons, which led some people to believe the only reason he was playing better to begin with was the drugs. However, at this point it does not matter because even with what happened last season , the Toronto Blue Jays have taken a chance on him and signed him to a 2 year, $16 million dollar contract. American Basketball Player Being Held Hostage In Qatar!!
This is scary that this is actually going on as I type this and that teams in other countries are actually able to do this. Marcus Campbell, who is a former player in the NBA D-League, is being held hostage in Qatar. He signed a contract to play for a professional team there, but from day one nothing has gone has promised in his contract. The team has released him, forced him out of the apartment they set up for him, have refused to give him his exit visa so he can leave the country, and he has no money.
