This is scary that this is actually going on as I type this and that teams in other countries are actually able to do this. Marcus Campbell, who is a former player in the NBA D-League, is being held hostage in Qatar. He signed a contract to play for a professional team there, but from day one nothing has gone has promised in his contract. The team has released him, forced him out of the apartment they set up for him, have refused to give him his exit visa so he can leave the country, and he has no money.
