(Also out that day is Mac Miller’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off, but unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to stand a chance against these two. You never know, though!) Not a very interesting week for hip-hop on Billboard’s top 10 chart this past week. In fact, the only album that falls into the category is The Great Gatsby soundtrack, nabbing the number 4 slot in its second week out with 96k sold. Get the rest of the top 10 after the jump. Not mentioned below, though? Eve. She caught quite a brick with Lip Lock, coming in at 46 with only 8500 sold in its first week. Sheesh.

Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 4/14/13 … Congrats To Tyga On A #7 Debut!

Tyga’s third time wasn’t exactly a charm when it comes to album sales, but it didn’t do too poorly, either. His latest effort, Hotel California, comes in at number 7 on the Billboard charts today, moving 54k copies in its first week out. This is likely due to its lack of a strong single.
