Last night Candice Glover was crowned as the winner of this season’s “American Idol.” Having tried out for “Idol” two times previously to get accepted, Candice was clearly in shock when Ryan Seacrest read her name as the winner, so much so that even in an after show statement, she was still at a loss for words. Nicki Minaj was a huge fan of Candice and so was Drake, who surprised the then contestant after she sang his “Find Your Love.” Not only did Candice get co-signed by Nicki and Drake, but she also performed with Jennifer Hudson and Aretha Franklin. Phil Ramone, a Grammy winner for his production work, has passed away at age 79. Ramone produced tracks for Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Madonna, Lou Reed, and more.
