In April 2014, 219 girls were kidnapped from a Nigerian boarding school by the Islamic militant group Boko Haram. BBC News reports that the first girl was found today, rescued in the Sambisa Forest of northeast Nigeria by the Civilian Joint Task Force. The Nigerian Army released a statement saying the girl is Falmata Mbalala, but Nigerian chartered accountant Obiageli Ezekwesili says the girl was Amina Ali Nkek.
