The North Carolina A&T University campus has been shut down after a man was spotted carrying a rifle. Middle College at A&T and The STEM Early College at NC A&T are also shut down. The university has announced that no shots have been fired. Everyone on campus was advised to lock their doors, windows, and stay inside. The man is about 5’11” and is wearing blue jeans, hat, and jacket with a white tee shirt. We will have more on the situation as it develops. UPDATE: The lockdown as been lifted as of 12:22 pm.Normal activities have commenced but classes are not set to begin until 2pm. Read more below.
