The NBA trade deadline has come and gone but that doesn’t mean that is the end of any potential big moves this season. While the deadline was rather uneventful with mostly meaningless players being moved around, the biggest move of the season could still happen with Joe Johnson!

Less than 24 hours after taking over the Cavs, Tyronn Lue is wasting no time distancing himself from his predecessor. The Cavs were 30-11 this season, in control of the eastern conference but that wasn’t enough. So the team dumped Blatt very unexpectedly for a guy with no head coaching experience but for some reason people seem to think he will succeed. For his sake he better, especially after throwing a shot at Blatt today.

As twitter world and beyond was in shock over the Cavs firing head coach David Blatt and hiring Tyronn Lue to replace him immediately, you might think players on the team would be focused on what’s going on. JR Smith is not here for your theories however. Shortly after the news broke, he took to twitter to let us know he wasn’t sweating what happened one bit because he was more interested in something else. Likely another sign that players tried to be respectful but overall didn’t care for Blatt. Check the gallery!

NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting the Cleveland Cavs just fired head coach, David Blatt. The move comes as a shock in the middle of a season where the Cavs are in first place in the Eastern conference and a virtual lock to make it back to the NBA finals!

The game last night in New Orleans between the Pelicans and Cavs was one of the more exciting ones this season. Lebron dominated the 4th quarter with 23 points to help the Cavs come back from a big deficit and send the game into overtime. The Pelicans took control in the extra frame but during one of the timeouts, they showed the commentators speaking about the game and there happened to be fan in the background within camera view who just couldn’t help himself. Soon as he realized he was on camera he broke out his creepy thumb trick which I am sure will freak some people out. He was very proud of himself as well.
