Actor Clifton Powell is being sued for the rape of a woman in 2011, but the case smells like BS to me! This woman attempted to try it with police first after the alleged incident, but they investigated and felt that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to charge him. Not deterred, she took it to federal court, where she was semi-successful, and now has a $75k case against him. Of course, Powell is denying the allegations and from the looks of things, I’m with him on this one. Some people will stop at NOTHING, even ruining someone else’s life, to get a dollar. SMH.
