Looks like this ‘Empire’ star isn’t as big of a celeb as he might have thought. Over the weekend Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, who plays “Hakeem Lyon” in the Fox series was down in Memphis trying to party. When he arrived at one of the city’s most famed clubs, Beale Street, he decided he didn’t want to wait in line, however the security guard shut him down. Check out the video below.

Lee Daniels Hints At Possible ‘Empire’ Spin-Off: Cookie Lyon Prequel

Looks like Empire‘s Cookie Lyon could be getting her very own prequel series. According to creator Lee Daniels, he thinks its a definite possibility. Nothing is in the works so far, but Daniels told Television Critics Association’s (TCA) during press tour in Beverly Hills that he’s seriously considering a spin-off that focuses on a younger version of Taraji P.
