Lee Daniels is looking to add another hit show to his list of accomplishments. Recently, the Empire co-creator announced he would be teaming up with FOX yet again, to put out another music based drama titled ‘Star.’ The production is set to begin in December in Atlanta and Lee Daniels has just launched an international talent search to find a cast for the show. Akon recently revealed he passed on singing Drake ultimately because he didn’t see his potential. Now it’s surfaced that the Konvict Muzik CEO passed up signing one of Empire’s newest stars. Bre-Z who was a barber for Akon, made her acting debut in “Empire” Season 2. She plays rapper Freda Gatz on the show and the girl’s got bars!
