So PSY puts out Gangnam style in 2012 and it becomes the pop hit of the year, the video sky rockets to the billions. The question now how much money did he make from video on Youtube. PSY and Google were able to cash out for $8 million, from Youtube ads alone. “Christopher Mims of Quartz does the math and says the $8 million in earnings reported by Arora means the video is generating about $0.65 in revenue per click. For a video with 1.23 billion YouTube views and counting, that kind of cash adds up — fast.” The only bad news for PSY he has to give half the earnings to Youtube, but looking at it, its still a good deal. Psy has been breaking records left and right with their smash hit “Gangnam Style” but at the 31st annual “Christmas in Washington” charity concert, performing for President Obama, the First Family and various other beltway guests he gave the smash hit a nice little holiday spin. The concert, which benefits the Children’s National Medical Center, aired Friday night on TNT and was taped on December 9th.
