Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl When Gilbert Arenas pulled the plug on his “AgentZeroShow” Twitter account last September, he went dark in ways we hadn’t seen since his fascinating rise and infamous fall. He stayed out of the social media circle and out of the spotlight that caused him so much angst in recent years, and on Dec. 9, the Orlando Magic used their amnesty clause on the three-time All-Star. Arenas, who struggled in 49 games with the Magic after being acquired from Washington in December 2010, is owed $62 million over the next three years.

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl While the Los Angeles Lakers were in Toronto on Sunday finishing off their six-game road trip, Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak was holding a private workout for free agent guard Gilbert Arenas, according to multiple sources.
The Lakers are in need of scoring help and have set their sights on Gilbert Arenas. Â Arenas a victim of the amnesty clause and now free agent, released a four-team wishlist which listed the Lakers as well. Â Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has officially given his stamp of approval to sign the testy guard. Â With all those factors in play you would think it’s a done deal, but it’s far from official.
