IFWT Remembers Jam Master Jay On The 13th Anniversary Of His Passing

On this day in 2002, Jam Master Jay was shot and killed at his recording studio in New York City. He was 37 years old. DJ for the legendary group Run-DMC, Jam Master Jay was also known for starting his own successful music label & launching the careers of artist such as 50 cent. To this day no one has been convicted for his murder. Today, marks the 13th anniversary of his death and rather then dwell on his passing IFWT celebrates his life and mark he left on hip-hop.
