NBA: James Harden Says He’s the League MVP

When asked who’s the best, most athletes will almost always say themselves; it’s the attitude you’re supposed to have.  So it was no shock when James Harden chose himself as the NBA MVP.  He no doubt still carries a chip on his shoulder after losing out on the award to Stephen Curry during a season in which they were neck and neck.  But Harden didn’t name himself just cause, he gave reasons why.

Tomorrow is officially Thanksgiving and several athletes have begun giving back to the community.  Cleveland Cavaliers’ J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson held a joint Turkey Drive in Cleveland.  Thompson was joined by his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.  Several players from the Houston Rockets joined James Harden giving out food at the Harvest Time Church.  Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and his foundation hosted their fourth annual Thanksgiving Jam event in Charlotte.

NBA: James Harden Says He’s the Best Point Guard & Player in the League

I remember back when James Harden was playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder and many fans were clamoring for him to be the point guard and move Russell Westbrook to shooting guard.  Alas, it never quite happened and Harden was shipped off to the Houston Rockets when the Thunder declined to give him what he was worth.  Harden remained a shooting guard on the Rockets, but this season with Mike D’Antoni at head coach, Harden has been moved to the 1 and it’s worked out.

NBA: James Harden Shoots Down Any “Beef” Between Himself & Dwight Howard

James Harden and Dwight Howard can deny it all they want but they weren’t big fans of each other in Houston. It started off promising when Howard came to the Rockets from the Lakers but it didn’t take long to see it wasn’t a match made in heaven. All they got out of their time together was some mediocre basketball and a few playoff runs that really never had a chance from the start. As they prepare to face off as opponents this week with Howard in Atlanta with the Hawks now, Harden is still shooting down any talk that there was ever a beef.

NBA: Kevin Durant on Why He Left Thunder, Them Breaking His Heart & Not Being With Him Anymore

Since July 4, 2016, the day Kevin Durant declared his independence from the Oklahoma City Thunder, we’ve read and heard various reports about why he chose the Warriors, how Russell Westbrook factored into the decision, and even derogatory remarks about Durant’s personality.  Durant officially went from one of the nicest, most loved stars, to a villain in the league.  In a cover story for Rolling Stone, Durant delved into his childhood, his experiences and gave the most in depth look into a decision that changed the face of the NBA.

(Audio) NBA: James Harden Says Images That Leaked Of His First Adidas Sneaker Were Fake

Back in August, social media was busy roasting what they thought was a leaked image of James Harden’s first signature sneaker with Adidas. The jokes were hilarious but it turns out the joke might be on us. During an appearance on .Wav Radio with Travi$ Scott, the images of Harden’s kicks came up and Travi$ said he saw them and they were fire (he had to be lying). Harden interrupted him and let him know he actually didn’t see anything because the pics were fake. It’s possible he is lying because they truly were hideous but maybe Adidas and Harden will surprise us. Check out the audio below.
