Galaxy Note II Gets Jelly Bean Update

Verizon Galaxy Note II customers can now update their smartphone to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The update allows users to download images via Enterprise Exchange email and download ring back tones through VZTones version 5.1.2 preloaded app.


Sony Smartphones Finally Getting Updates!!!

Sony is finishing up the final testing phase of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update on some Xperia phones. The company posted on twitter a few days ago, stating the update will be for for the Xperia P, Xperia Go, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia acro S and the Xperia ion.


T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 Gets An Update!!!

Jelly Bean is rolling out for T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S II. The version available for the smartphone is Android 4.1, which still has Google Now. To get the update, customers have to connect to Kies and download the 756MB file. This update will replace the Android 4.0 Ice Cream.


Blackberry Says Android Emulator With Jelly Bean Coming Soon

One of the major pluses of having a Blackberry 10 device is being able to run Android apps on the device. This was possible of course though Blackberry’s Runtime for Android apps” program. The downside, because you know there is always a downside to new tech, the apps are only available though Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, not Ice Cream Sandwich or even Jelly Bean which just means this thing is probably filled with bugs. There is still no word from Blackberry on a time frame when devs can transfer the apps though 4.0.

AT&T Galaxy Note II Gets Latest Update, Multi-Window

Carriers aren’t always so nice with OS Updates, especially when users are itching for the new features. They must approve any and all updates that get pushed to devices, especially OTA downloads.
