For the second time in a matter of a week, 17-year-old Chief Keef was arrested. This time it wasn’t for smoking, but for doing 110 mph in a 55 zone. SMH! Cops say they caught him speeding outside of Chicago in his 2011 BMW X6 M around 3:45 AM, and when they pulled him over, he had 3 passengers with him. The issue here is in the fact that since he’s just 17, he only has a permit…so 3 people in his car is a no-no. After he was taken into custody, the BMW was released to one of the passengers. He was cited for speeding and having too many people in the car, and is due back in court on June 17th. These cops DON’T love Sosa, that’s for sure.
Blackstreet Members At War Over Rights To Their Group Name
Chauncey Black has filed a lawsuit against one of his former Blackstreet groupmates Teddy Riley, claiming he owns the rights to the group’s name but Teddy has been using it illegally. The thing is though, Teddy originally owned the rights, but then his trademark expired and Chauncey got it for himself. Messy! Chauncey says that Teddy is violating his rights performing with other guys under the name, so he wants him to pay up! Can’t we all just get along?!
Faith Evans Gets Hit With $29,000 Tax Lien
Joining the likes of Mary J. Blige and Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans has become the latest entertainer hit with a tax bill…but at least this one isn’t crazy expensive. The State of California has hit Faith with a tax lien for 2011, saying the singer owes $29,535.48. Hopefully she takes care of this ASAP and doesn’t end up with the same fate that Lauryn is currently dealing with!
