The Lakers had an 0-5 start in the NBA season and looked just “turrible” in the words of Charles Barkley.  The Inside the NBA host decided he would fast, saying he would not eat another meal until the Lakers get their first win.  Luckily Chuck didn’t have to wait long because the Lakers won their next game, beating the Hornets 107-92.  Lakers forward Ed Davis didn’t waste any time firing back at Barkley.


NBA: Steve Nash Writes Open Letter to Lakers Fans Explaining What Went Wrong The Past 2 Years

Steve Nash and Dwight Howard teamed up with Kobe Bryant on the Los Angeles Lakers and it was thought to be a move that would make them serious contenders again.  As you know things went terribly wrong.  Dwight and Kobe weren’t able to get along and he later decided to sign with the Houston Rockets for less money rather than return to the Lakers.  Nash dealt with a recurring back injury that kept him out for majority of last season and has ruled him out for the entire 2014-15 season.  After a video surfaced of Nash playing golf caused some controversy, he wrote an open letter to Lakers fans on his Facebook page explaining where he is physically and what has happened the past two years.
