David Banner and Maino have begun filming for their video “Castles in Brooklyn.” Banner hasn’t released the track yet but it will be featured on his forthcoming album Sex, Drugs & Video Games due out on May 22. Lil Cease, Uncle Murda, and Maino all got together to pay tribute to the late, great Notorious B.I.G. on the 15th anniversary of his passing. Faith Evans, Jan (Biggie’s daughter’s mother), Tyanna Wallace, members of the Junior M.A.F.I.A (excluding Lil Kim), Foxy Brown, AZ, Papoose, Fred the Godson, and Sway were all in the building during the tribute. Kimmy appeared on MTV Rapfix yesterday to discuss her new music, namely her latest single “If You Love Me,” that many say is aimed at Maino. It’s believed to be a response record to his song “I Still Love You,” which is pretty clearly about her.
