Nick Young aka Swaggy P has been entertaining on and off the court, keeping interest in the Lakers during the absence of their superstar Kobe Bryant. That doesn’t mean people don’t miss the Black Mamba so Young tried to fill the void by doing a pregame interview pretending to be Kobe.

Early in the fourth quarter of the Lakers loss at Golden State on Saturday, Nick Young got into the lane for what was going to be an uncontested layup or dunk. Marreese Speights didn’t want to give up the easy two points, however, and grabbed Young from behind around the neck to take him down. Words were exchanged, and Speights received a flagrant two foul and an automatic ejection.

The Lakers defeated the Warriors 102-95 on Friday thanks in part to Nick Young’s 21 points off the bench. It looks like Young had some extra motivation that night with Rihanna sitting courtside, but how did his girlfriend feel about that?

Lakers young star Nick Young finally made his dream come true. Or at least it looks that way. Young started tweeting Iggy back in September as his “WCW” Woman Crush Wednesday and she responded. Since then they have been talking often and now appears they are dating. Check out the video of them out at a carnival enjoying themselves. Not a bad look for him at all.

NBA: Nick Young Benched, Xavier Henry to Start For the Lakers
The talk of the town has been the Los Angeles Lakers bench players. In the Lakers home opener against their arena rivals the Clippers, they shocked everyone by winning 116-103 with the bench scoring a jaw dropping 76 points. Leading the charge was Xavier Henry with a career high 22-points. In fact Henry has been playing so well, he’s set to replace Nick Young as a starter.
