Big Sean is one of the hottest rappers in the game right now but he may have crossed the line by calling himself “B.I.G.” in the ad-libs of “Clique.” Many hip hop fans, including myself and clearly Peter Rosenberg, feel that the only rapper who should be called “B.I.G.” is the late, great, Notorious B.I.G. I’m sure Big Sean didn’t mean any disrespect by the line, but I can see how some people could get offended by it. Lil Cease, Uncle Murda, and Maino all got together to pay tribute to the late, great Notorious B.I.G. on the 15th anniversary of his passing. Faith Evans, Jan (Biggie’s daughter’s mother), Tyanna Wallace, members of the Junior M.A.F.I.A (excluding Lil Kim), Foxy Brown, AZ, Papoose, Fred the Godson, and Sway were all in the building during the tribute.
