He has now inked a major label deal with Warner Bros. Records for both himself and his own independent label, REMember Music, and according to reports, it’s worth a whopping $10 million! Congrats, Mac! “Warner is the most independent thinking company I met with,” Mac said in a statement. “It is a partnership and now I can focus on building my label REMember through music and let them handle everything I don’t like doing. Nothing will change in how I do things. They have Prince.”

Can you say BALLIN?! Jennifer Lopez is in the process of closing a deal on a Vegas residency…a deal that will bring her $26,383,326 for just two years! J. Lo’s contract will guarantee her $350,000 per show at The Axis, Planet Hollywood, with 72 shows, 3 times a week for 24 weeks over a 1 or 2 year period (the contract leaves that open.) Though this is more per show than Britney’s current $310k/show, Brit does end up making more in the long run, as she’s guaranteed $29.8 million versus Jen’s $26.3. Still, that’s NO chump change! DeJ Loaf Reportedly Signs With Columbia Records
According to new reports, the success of her hit single “Try Me” has brought Detroit rapper/singer DeJ Loaf a record deal with Columbia Records. The track will go for radio adds officially on October 28, and Columbia has been listed as the label. No details of the deal are available as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated. Big things are in store for Iggy Azalea. Her string of success has been steady for 2014, topping charts and breaking records with her single “Fancy,” debuting high on Billboard with her debut album The New Classic, being tapped as host for MTV’s revamped “House of Style” show and finding love with NBA baller Nick Young are just a few of Iggy’s feats in recent months, and now there’s one more accomplishment to add to the list. The Australian rapper has been tapped by Steve Madden for her own line of shoes! “The idea for a collaboration came about a few months ago when Iggy performed in Brooklyn as part of our Madden Music series,” a spokesperson for Madden told Fashionista. “She has an extremely gifted eye for fashion, and we’re working on the collection now.” No word on when the collection is coming, but I have a feeling it’s going to be dope! Miami native Flo Rida was the celebrity principal for the day at Miami Edison Middle School this week, a reward awarded to the pupils to celebrate their victory in the Get Schooled Diplomas Now Attendance Challenge. He was joined by rapper Ace Hood and Gorilla Zoe as the three recognized the enormous efforts of students and staff at the school. Just the night before, Mayor Oliver Gilbert presented the rapper with the first-ever key to the City of Miami Gardens, for his commitment to preparing South Florida Youth for success through his Florida Youth Football League and his various programs coordinated through his Big Dreams For Kids Charity.
