A 23-year-old student was gang raped in India about two weeks ago. She was raped with a metal rod and badly beaten aboard a bus, she survived up until yesterday. Last week she arose in her hospital bed and said that she wanted justice and also to survive! Her tragic case has set off protests in India for women’s rights and justice for the student. Her body was moved to Singapore in order to get better medical help, but she did not survive and her corpse was moved back to India.
