Just a few minutes ago, J. Cole took to Twitter to reveal the release date for his highly anticipated sophomore album, Born Sinner. Fans have been waiting for a new project from Jermaine since he dropped his debut almost 2 years ago now! (It was September of 2011…) B.S. was originally slated to come out on January 28th of this year, but J revealed on New Year’s Eve that wasn’t happening. Now we have a new date, and hopefully this one sticks! However, there is one rapper that may be hoping it DOESN’T stick…Wale’s The Gift drops the very same day. That may be a fun, friendly competition though, and help drive both artists’ sales..a la the Kanye vs. 50 Cent album face-off in 2007. What do you think? Wale Reveals New Album Title & Release Date
Wale took to Twitter earlier today, and promised fans he’d reveal the title of his forthcoming album, as well as when to expect it. Right on time he delivered, and before hitting the gallery to find out when to expect it, just a heads up: it’s coming soon! The first single off the project is his current track “Bad,” and I’m sure we’ll be getting another in the near future. This will be his second release on MMG, his third album all together.

Gearing up for her fifth album, Ciara finally gives us the release date for her highly anticipated project! The Epic Records press release announced that One Woman Army will arrive on June 4th! It’s been about 3 years since her last album, but she’s back with full force.
