On every week day for the last two weeks, XXL released a freestyle from each one of their 2015 Freshmen: Fetty Wap, DeJ Loaf, Vince Staples, Raury, Goldlink, Tink, Shy Glizzy, K Camp, OG Maco and finally, the fan-voted Kidd Kidd. Once that was out of the way, the began releasing cyphers from the class, starting off with round one of Raury, Tink, K Camp and Kidd Kidd. Round two included GoldLink, OG Maco and Vince Staples, and now that brings us to the final round, round three. Every year, Hip-Hop fans patiently wait for XXL’s Freshman list to be revealed to see which rap new comers were hot enough to make the cut. This year, there seems to be a lot of uproar surrounding the list for many reasons. The artists featured on this year’s XXL Freshman 2015 list include Shy Glitzy, Fetty Wap, Dej Loaf, Vince Staples, K. Camp, GoldLink, Tink, OG Maco, Raury and oddly enough G-Unit rapper Kidd Kidd, who has been in the game for well over a decade.
