Ferguson protestors have not let up in demanding justice for Mike Brown, the unarmed teenager shot dead by police officer Darren Wilson. The protestors have taken over the St. Louis symphony, had a nasty racist filled standoff at the St. Louis Cardinals playoff game and now have appeared at the St. Louis Rams Monday Night Football game against the San Francisco 49ers.
NFL: St. Louis Rams Cut Michael Sam
Today is a tough day for many around the NFL as all 32 teams make cuts to get down to the final 53-man roster. Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be selected in the NFL draft, was one of the casualties.

Michael Sam made strides coming out as the first openly homosexual player in the NFL. While the league is very open to Sam’s preference there were some questions about how comfortable his teammates would be. Football is a very close contact sport and the teammates are usually naked together in the locker rooms and shower together in a big open shower. Though it was on some people’s minds, no one thought ESPN would actually report on it. Well they did and now they’ve issued an apology.

Well unfortunately for the St. Louis Rams their starting quarterback Sam Bradford suffered a season-ending torn ACL and they’re left trying to fill the void. Garrard decided to go the Young route and recommend himself for the job on Twitter.
