As you know, the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night 105-97, winning the NBA Championship 4-2.  Andre Iguodala was awarded the Finals MVP as many people predicted but the votes were shown and surprisingly, the league MVP and leader of the Warriors, Stephen Curry didn’t receive a single vote.

Stephen Curry finished the game with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assist, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 in game 6 to take the series and win the NBA finals. Lebron James again had an incredible game, nearly finishing with another triple double. James finished the game with 32 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assist.

LeBron James has been an absolute monster during the NBA Finals averaging 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists through five games against the Golden State Warriors.  During game 5 James put up a triple-double of 40 points, 14 rebounds ad 11 assists.  No player has had a 40 point triple-double since Jerry West.  There’s one other thing West did that James might end up doing as well.

Just about everybody in the Curry family is a star.  Not only did Stephen Curry’s daughter Riley capture everyone’s hearts, his mother Sonya is a fan favorite as well.  At each game Sonya can be seen cheering her son on with his wife Ayesha and the rest of their family.  The focus is usually on the females, we all know adorable Riley but everyone loves to ogle over the gorgeous Sonya and Ayesha.  Stephen Curry came alive during game 5 on Sunday night and as usual the camera went to his mom who broke out a celebration dance that went viral.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers was just as intense as game 1 and yet again went into overtime.  This time Warriors saw their star player struggle as Stephen Curry had the worst shooting night many of us have ever seen from him.  In fact, he was so bad, for once he set a BAD three-point shooting record instead of the many good ones he’s been breaking.
