Overnight, things took a dramatic turn in the hunt for the Boston Bombing Suspects. After a college police officer at MIT was shot and killed last night by the alleged suspects, the manhunt intensified. After the shooting at the college, in which one of the suspects robbed a store at gunpoint and the campus officer happened to be the one to respond, the suspects reportedly car jacked a man and made him stay in the car with them for about a half hour, at which point they let him go without harm. A short time later Police cornered the vehicle with the suspects and gunfire was exchanged. Witnesses in the area even reported that the suspects tried to detonate some type of explosives to help them get away. One of the suspects was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other was able to evade arrest and a huge manhunt is going on as we speak. Read more after the jump.
