As previously announced last year, West Coast OG The Game has been working on his long-anticipated The Documentary 2 album and claims it was finished back in August of 2014, but apparently he decided to add some more tracks to his project. Legendary R&B songbird Faith Evans joined The Game in the studio where they laid some tracks down and flicked it up together for the ‘Gram along side DJ Battle Cat. The Game posted a bunch of flicks of them all mackin’ in the stu, which is getting music fans from coast to coast hyped on the collab. This is exciting news for Hip-Hop/ R&B heads because we haven’t heard any new music from Faith in awhile! East Coast vs. West Coast on a track, how ironic. The Game Reveals ‘The Documentary 2’ Is Coming In 2015!
It looks like that YMCMB deal really didn’t pan out (he really jumped the gun on that one, huh?) but The Game is going to be just fine. Just last week, the Compton rapper revealed he’d officially signed a new deal with eOne and has a new album, Blood Money La Familia, slated for a September release. Now in a new interview with the LA Leakers, Game announced that he will follow up his game-changing 2005 debut album The Documentary with The Documentary 2, come this January. That should be interesting!
