Philadelphia’s Penn Landing was turnt all day and night thanks to The Roots Picnic. The 8th annual music festival brought out a clever mix of artists young and old. There were several major moments to remember like A$AP Rocky performing songs off his new album A.L.L.A for the first time and a nostalgic set from Afrika Bambaataa. Jadakiss and Styles P ripped the runway with streetwear brand Grungy Gentleman this past weekend in Houston for the annual FH5 fashion show. Though the New York vets weren’t modeling any clothes, they were definitely in style for their performance. With tons of classics to choose from, Kiss and Styles opted to perform “We Gonna Make It” and “Knock Yourself Out,” as Grungy Gentleman’s models walked the runway around them. “Live performances on the runway are the next logical progression between fashion and music,” noted Grungy’s founder and EIC, Jace Lipstein.
