It was a Dreamville takeover last night as J.Cole tore down the Highline Ballroom in celebration of the fifth anniversary of his classic piece ‘The Warm Up’! J. Cole Announces ‘Dollar & A Dream’ Tour Dates

5 years ago, J. Cole’s career launched into the next level with the release of The Warm Up, which the Roc Nation MC happily celebrated yesterday during a special with MTV, “The Warm Up: 5 Years Later.” Along with finally premiering the long lost video for “Lights Please,” (shot in 2008 and being the very first time Cole ever saw the video!), Cole also announced dates for his second annual “Dollar & A Dream Tour,” where he will perform every single cut off the The Warm Up at every show. As the 5th Anniversary of J.Cole’s breaking master piece ‘The Warm Up’ hits June 15th, Cole will be taking the celebrations to the ‘RapFix’ set, for some reminiscing, and the world premiere video of his hit ‘Lights Please’! Here’s a taste of what you can expect on MTV Jams this Sunday at 7:30 p.m.


J. Cole To Perform Only Cuts Off ‘The Warm Up’ On Second Annual “Dollar & A Dream” Tour

In celebration of the 5-year anniversary of his 2009 mixtape The Warm Up, J. Cole will embark on his second annual “Dollar & A Dream” tour, performing ONLY cuts from the tape. “The Warm Up. Dollar and a Dream. See you in the summer,” Cole wrote on social media earlier today. Just like he did in 2013, the shows are only $1 for entry, and venues will not be announced in advance. Cities TBA.
