Roc Nation launched Roc Nation Sports Presents: Throne Boxing at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday night. Of course Roc Nation kingpin Jay Z was on hand as well as a few other Roc Nation signees including Rihanna, New York Yankees C.C. Sabathia and Fabolous as I pointed out earlier. Also on hand was actor Jake Gyllenhaal, actor Michael K. Williams, actress Rosie Perez and it was hosted by Roc Nation’s own, Angie Martinez.

The rapper turned businessman, Jay-Z, has done it again, as Roc Nation Sports has put out its FIRST fight card. After stepping foot in the boxing world back in August, the company announced the first card in the series, titled ‘Throne Boxing.’ Roc Nation is beyond ecstatic by the power move, saying “all of us at Roc Nation Sports are thrilled to announce our first boxing event along with our first series and television deal…” Hit the jump for further details on headlining fights and boxers!
