After being stranded by their car on the way from one gig to another, one man had the chance of a lifetime to save the day and drive legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy to a gig. Kevin Wells, dished to the Guardian about just how his once in a lifetime opportunity came to be. He said, “It was very, very surreal. We all walked to the car – Flavor Flav, Chuck D and two of their entourage — and they all just piled in.
