The Unemployment rate for African American men 20 years old and beyond dropped just a little bit in December of 2014 compared to the month prior to that. Though it was good news that it dropped for a little bit the jobless rate for African American Men remains twice as high as that of other Race Groups such as Whites , Hispanics and Asians. Whats The Deal With Employment?
The unemployment rate is the number of people without jobs in the labor force. The unemployment rate went down in January to 6.6 percent, the lowest level since October 2008, from 6.7 percent in December. The government said on Friday that employers added 113,000 jobs in January.
Unemployment Falls To 8.1%
The August jobs report showed American employers have added 96,000 jobs. Even as the economy has kept scrapping by, the unemployment rate fell to 8.1%. Hopefully, the unemployment rate will keep falling and all Americans will be able to find a job. Click below to read more. Jason J.
