NBA Report: Cavaliers to Interview Vinny Del Negro For Head Coach Position

The head coach carousel continues as reports state that Vinny Del Negro will be interviewed by the Cleveland Cavaliers for the head coach position after they fired Mike Brown… again.

The Nuggets fired Coach of the Year George Karl after 57 wins and another first round playoff exit.  So far they’ve interviewed Brian Shaw and former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins but they also have another person in mind.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Coach Swap? Celtics Considering Vinny Del Negro if Doc Rivers Leaves

Doc Rivers isn’t sure if he will return as the head coach of the Boston Celtics.  There’s been reports of him “needing a change” and having “mutual interest with the Los Angeles Clippers”.  Well should Rivers leave there’s a chance the Clippers ousted coach Vinny Del Negro could end up in Boston completing the coach swap.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Uh-Oh, Clippers Got Problems..They Got Chris Paul HEATED!!!

Ah man, the Los Angeles Clippers are probably biting their fingernails down to the bone right now with nervousness. That’s what happens when you piss off your star player, who just happens to be a free agent and can leave and go to a new team. NBA: Clippers & Coach Vinny Del Negro Part Ways Because of Chris Paul?!

Yesterday the big news around the NBA was that the Clippers parted ways with Coach Vinny Del Negro. Clippers’ vice president of basketball operations said, “This was a difficult decision, but we feel this is the best decision for our franchise moving forward.”  So what happened?! NBA: Could Chauncey Billups Become the Clippers Head Coach?

The Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 118-105 Friday night and was eliminated from the playoffs in the first round.  Many people attribute their troubles to head coach Vinny Del Negro’s poor rotations and plays.  It is assumed around the league that Del Negro will be fired and one name as his possible replacement is surprising.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro Says the Lakers Have No Shot Against the Spurs

NBA Report: Clippers Showing Interest in Stan Van Gundy as Vinny Del Negro’s Replacement

Vinny Del Negro’s future with the LA Clippers has been in question since last season.  Many thought he wasn’t able to properly rotate the deep squad as well as maintain control over the team.  Despite the high flying dunks and superstar point guard Chris Paul, the Clippers have taken several falls throughout the season.  Some analysts have them getting booted in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs which could mean bad implications for Del Negro.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro Rips Players’ Lack of Effort
