The luxury compound where terror mastermind Osama bin Laden lived was reduced to a blood-soaked horror scene after a 40-minute U.S. military raid that killed the Al Qaeda leader. An ABC News team gained access to the site in Abbotabad, Pakistan where an elite team of U.S. Navy SEALS took out the world’s most hunted terrorist in a top-secret kill mission authorized by President Barack Obama. Hazy raw video footage shows ransacked rooms, broken glass and bloody rugs. Blood was also splattered on the walls of some of the rooms inside the custom-built mansion. The $1 million compound, surrounded by 12-to 18-foot walls topped with barbed wire, was at least eight times larger than nearby homes. Bin Laden, one of his sons, two Al Qaeda couriers and one woman used as a human shield were killed in the firefight. The rooms are strewn with clothing, pillows, toppled furniture, broken glass and large pools of blood remained on the floors and woven throw rugs. One room had shelves filled with bottles and appears to have been used as a kitchen. It also had multiple computers that had been stripped of their hard drives. The first room to the right of the front entry is covered in blood, leading to speculation that several people were killed there.
