(CBS)–Police say around 7:30am, a 2005 Acura was traveling in the left lane of the Bronx River Parkway heading north when it lost control and swerved, hitting the concrete barrier that separated north and southbound traffic. That’s caused the car to swerve across both lanes of traffic through the ride side guard rail and a chain link fence, landing in the parking lot of NYPD‘s 12th district station.

No one on the ground was injured and the two passengers in the car survived. The car partially landed on a GMC pickup truck, which is an officer’s personal vehicle.

Police say they think speed was a factor in the crash but don’t believe any charges will be filed.

The two passengers in the car were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
