CNET’s Brian Tong  speculates that Apple will be introducing an upgraded Mac Mini and a revamped Macbook Pro. According to Tong the Mini and Macbook Pro should be hitting retailers in late July or early august. As you know with Apple dates are never certain until they announce them.
The Mac minis are said to be receiving the Thunderbolt I/O and Sandy Bridge Processor treatment, which the MacBook Pro and iMac families received earlier this year. Tong also speculates that these upgraded Macs will be packed with Lion at first boot.  An all new Mac Mini is not said to be released since an all new design was released in the summer of 2010.  There are also rumors that Apple will also release an upgraded Macbook Air sometime this year.
who gives a shit, when I upgrade my PC, I don’t literally have to buy a new one, yet I can still outmatch anything Mac releases every year.
Oh, and I can run OSX on my PC, too. I win.
okay so someones a lil bitter true you can run OSX on PC but the same is true with the opposite. Furthermore, you don’t necessarily have to buy a “new one” in order for the upgrade. As with many upgrades, so long as you have the version before the newest update all you need is a little bit of cash and an internet feed for the download.
James–have fun continually dumping money into your virus software and defraggins and cleaning out all those latent files left over by incomplete uninstallations.
