Now the tattoo itself is not animated you will need assistance from a smartphone to pull o ff the whole animated thing, but it still a pretty good idea.  Apparently the trick is to download Scanlife on your smartphone and scan the code.  And then The tattoo animation will pop right up when the tattoo is scanned

With a large number of people having tattoos, having this type of tattoo  adds a little more to the whole tattoo craze.  Tattoo artist Karl Marc of the wonderful Mystery Tattoo Club in Paris tattooed a design incorporating a matrix code that, when scanned, presented an animation of the tattoo.
