Humanities teacher Claudia Tillery, 42, was collared by 77th Precinct cops at her three-bedroom home on Rogers Ave., in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

She shared the apartment with her teenage daughter and young son, according to the building super.

Tillery was charged with rape, unlawful dealing of drugs and alcohol to a child, sexual misconduct, sexual abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

Police sources said the victim was a sixth-grader at Middle School 35, the Stephen Decatur School, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, where Tillery taught.

The boy, now 14, had been having a sexual relationship with Tillery since 2009 but decided to end it and come forward, sources said.

“I’m in shock,” said one mom whose daughter was in Tillery’s sixth-grade class last year.
“I still can’t believe this happened. Why would anyone do this? I’m ready to pull my kids out of the school. When your own child is affected by something like this, it’s scary.”

NYPD investigators were on the scene at MS 35 Wednesday morning.

Students there described Tillery as a strict and serious teacher.

“I like her. All the kids liked her. She’s a good teacher. She was a pretty lady,” said an eighth-grader who was taught by Tillery two years ago.
“She was serious in class. I’m surprised that this happened.”

Tillery attended Edward R. Murrow High School in Midwood, Brooklyn, and Central State University in Ohio, according to her Facebook page.
