Former New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes will make his return to Citi Field on April 24 as a member of the Miami Marlins. And the Mets will put out the welcome mat.

According to the New York Daily News, the Mets plan to show a video tribute featuring highlights from Reyes’ nine seasons with the team. That tribute will air before the start of the three-game series against the Marlins.

Reyes, who signed a six-year, $106 million contract with Miami during the offseason, won three NL stolen base titles (2005-07) while with New York and won the NL batting title in his final season with the Mets in 2011.

In his Mets career, he hit .292 with a .340 on-base percentage, 735 runs scored, 99 triples, 81 homers, 423 RBIs and 370 stolen bases. He was a four-time All-Star during his tenure with the team.

This season, Reyes is hitting .238 with a .289 on-base percentage, four runs scored, one triple, one RBI and three steals.
