After Stewart’s affair with her Snow White director Rupert Sanders, she finally speaks out. She says she is having a hard time forgiving herself for hurting her now ex Robert Pattinson.
Guess Kristen Stewart really has followed the Gandhi’s path to serenity ever since she cheated on Robert Pattinson with Snow White director Rupert Sanders!
The actress was said to be struggling to forgive herself following the, ahem, ‘indescretion,’ but during her first public appearance promoting her new film, On The Road, at its Toronto International Film Festival premiere this weekend, she seemed nothing but ZEN!
And although she refused to discuss the break-up explicitly, that didn’t mean she didn’t have a message to send her haters and critics!
When discussing her latest project, she said:
“I would have been happy standing at Cannes with the entire theater booing it as long as I was in that row with my cast and with Walter [Salles]. We would have been fine. I feel so strong with these people, and it’s so appropriate. I belonged there.”
“The great thing about On the Road is that it really can crack open your shell, and I definitely realized things about myself that I didn’t realize before. That I can let my face hang out and not be too aware of it, and stop questioning myself and not be afraid of strangers, and stop being judgmental.”
But POSSIBLE the most telling of where KStew and R-Patz are at emotionally came from when she was questioned about whether or not they’ll be able to walk the red carpet together during the upcoming press commitments for Breaking Dawn – Part 2!

Because it looks like YES, the pair will appear together!
She responded:
“We’re going to be fine. We’re totally fine.”
WELL, we DOUBT that they are ‘totally fine,’ but we’re at least relieved enough to hear that they will be fine ENOUGH to handle the public together!
PHEW! Things were getting a little nerve-wracking there for a minute!
Frankly, we’re just happy to know that they’re both taking the high road and coming to grips with all of the insanity this summer in what looks to be a healthy way.
Hopefully they will both continue to use this as an opportunity to learn and grow, in spite of all of the pain, confusion, and heartbreak!
