She asked the crowd during her performance, ‘Who’s registered to vote?’ adding, ‘I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.’
After all the ridiculing she was getting after making the statement she tried covering it up by saying, ‘Seriously, I don’t care who you vote for … Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote.’
‘It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, okay? So support the man, goddammit!’ she said.
She somewhat gets the crowd to cheer again after, but for the people who walked out, the damage was already done.
