In an attempt to alleviate their crime rate, Uruguay is making a push to legalize the sell of marijuana. They will also use the proceeds from marijuana taxes to help fund rehabilitation centers. The Uruguayan Government is confident that the legalization of marijuana in their country won’t make their crime problems bigger, but keep marijuana users away from dangerous drug dealers.
