Darrelle Revis is no doubt (to me) the best cornerback in the league.  Should the Jets choose to trade him it should be fairly easy but there are some factors that could affect his offers.  Revis is coming off an ACL injury and free agency is steadily approaching which means teams could fill their CB need before the Jets even begin business.  For that reason Revis’ camp want’s a resolution ASAP and reportedly the Denver Broncos are inquiring.  Read more after the jump.

So maybe the reason why the Denver Broncos wanted Elvis Dumervil to take a pay cut is to land one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.

According to ESPN, the Broncos are interested in a deal for New York Jets All-Pro Darrelle Revis.

Revis, who is recovering from a torn ACL, has expressed interest in being traded from the Jets.

The move for Revis would come after the Broncos secondary was torched by the Baltimore Ravens for three touchdowns, including a gut-wrenching 70-yard score with less than 30 seconds remaining in the AFC Divisional game. The Broncos would lose to the Ravens 34-31 in double-overtime.

Denver has more than $30 million of salary cap space available.

On Friday, the Broncos met with cornerback Dunta Robinson before he signed a three-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
