Parent’s are not happy at all about their children getting pushed away because of a negative balance on their lunch account. One parent says it’s bullying, neglect and child abuse! Complaints were made to the principal of the school, but he say’s it’s Whitson’s (lunch company provider) fault. Even though a child may have a negative balance on their lunch account, they aren’t supposed to be sent away hungry. “Children are supposed to get a cheese sandwich, a fruit, and some milk,” say’s Whitson’s spokeperson. May not be what all the other kids are having but it’s something. So it looks like one of those lunch lady’s weren’t following protocol!
