There have been countless rumors of there being some sort of down-low society of famous rapper but obviously nothing has been confirmed. There are some rappers over the years that have had their sexuality questioned, I won’t name names but you can Google it, leaving many to wonder if the rap world would accept homosexuality. Obviously, many rappers have no issue with two chicks hooking up but what if it was two men? Recently, Snoop Dogg Lion was asked about how he feels about gay rappers and I have a feeling many other mainstream rappers feel the same way as Snoop. Read what he said below.
Snoop was asked about Frank Ocean coming out and if that would pave the way for other rappers to come out. Clearly who ever asked Snoop doesn’t realize that Frank is a singer and not a rapper. Snoop replied with, “Frank Ocean ain’t no rapper. He’s a singer. It’s acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don’t know if it will ever be acceptable because rap is so masculine,” he went on to say, “It’s like a football team. You can’t be in a locker room full of motherf*cking tough-ass dudes, then all of a sudden say, ‘Hey, man, I like you.’ You know, that’s going to be tough.”
