When will the violence end? 11-year-old Taylonni Mazyck was shot in the neck at around 8:30 P.M. on Friday night outside of her Gates Ave. home in Bed-Stuy. The girl was with her mother and 7-month-old niece when the shots broke out. Luckily, 17-year-old Kane Cooper has been apprehended for the shooting after being spotted on a nearby surveillance camera. For more information on this horrific story, click the jump.

From the shots fired by Cooper, the little girl was hit in her neck while trying to escape the gunfire. Although Taylonni Mazyck is alive, there is a huge chance that she will never walk again. Cooper has been charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment and criminal use of a firearm.
